Limited distribution: WebDetetive (1.5 GB)
Files from a Brazilian spyware vendor that has compromised up to 76,000 phones. This dataset does not include victim's device data
150,000 files from the spyware reseller WebDetetive, a phone monitoring app typically installed on phones without the user's consent or knowledge. The software uploads the contents of the user's phone to its servers, messages, call logs, phone call recordings, photos, ambient recordings from the phone’s microphone and GPS data.
TechCrunch reported on the data:
“The hackers said they enumerated and downloaded every dashboard record, including every customer’s email address. The hackers said that dashboard access also allowed them to delete victim devices from the spyware network altogether, effectively severing the connection at the server level to prevent the device from uploading new data.”
The data does not include include files from the victims' devices. WebDetetive does not verify customer email addresses when signing up.
